Towards the end of 2013, we successfully completed the project Development of integral system of public transport in Subotica – Szeged region. The carrier of the project was the Public company for town and suburban passenger transport Subotica-trans, Subotica and the complete project was realized through Hungary–Serbia IPA Cross-border Co-operation Programme. Project partner was KTI Institute for Transport Sciences from Budapest, Hungary. The aim of the project is the development and organization of public transport. The project coordinates: timetable of public transporters, integral system of electronic payment of tickets, information of passengers and collection of data in real time. By taking part in this project, Novatronic has yet again proven its readiness to respond to complex requirements of passenger information in modern cities. For the citizens of Subotica it is of great importance the placement of equipment for passenger information in real time, which includes a traffic monitor and 25 station displays at bus stops, through which the passengers are informed in what time line buses are coming to the bus stop. Also, in 30 public transport vehicles Novatronic internal displays were placed and they serve to give relevant information to passengers in real time frame.
